CHERRY BOWLS

More symmetrical than most of my bowls, this was on display at the Berea Arts council office in the fall of 2004.

I like an undercut rim to emphasize the organic nature of wood and abstract form.
More elongated than the previous bowl and with more obvious asymmetry.
A medium sized bowl with upturned ends, very light. Donated to Lexington Art League.
Asymmetrical forms in cherry.
  PEARWOOD BOWLS
Spalted pearwood
Massive chunks carved from a pear tree stump in the back yard.
