CHERRY BOWLS |
|
More symmetrical than most of my bowls, this was on display at the Berea Arts council office in the fall of 2004. |
|
| I like an undercut rim to emphasize the organic nature of wood and abstract form. | |
| More elongated than the previous bowl and with more obvious asymmetry. | |
| A medium sized bowl with upturned ends, very light. Donated to Lexington Art League. | |
| Asymmetrical forms in cherry. | |
| PEARWOOD BOWLS | |
| Spalted pearwood | |
| Massive chunks carved from a pear tree stump in the back yard. |
