Welcome to Pike County.....

the largest county in the Commonwealth with rich deposits of the best quality of coal in the country, superb hardwoods and other timber, and the widest selection of medicinal herbs in the Appalachian Mountains. Geological indications show that the Appalachian Mountains are among the oldest in the universe.

Pike County is the home of the world famous Hatfield-McCoy Feud and the driving tour, which recognizes 6 major sites of the Feud. Our county is also the site of the Pikeville Cut-Through Project. The Cut-Through Project involved moving the river and hills to help eradicate flooding and congestion. This earth removal project is second only to the Panama Canal engineering feat.

To be a part of this actual authentic experience of Pike County and Eastern Kentucky, please come by for an extended visit. We would love to meet you.
