Bowie Section

 

Shrouded in mystery of who made it and what style and shape the first "Bowie" was are questions still being debated close to two hundred years later. All that we do know is that Col. Jim Bowie made the knife famous on that day in 1827 in Mississippi in his deadly duel. Here are just some of the types of "Bowies" I have made.

 

Recon Bowie made from D-2 High Carbon and Mastodon Mammoth Ivory. Includes hand-made leather sheath.

A very large Bowie made from 5160 steel. Has stag and mule deer handles and blued steel guard.
